Plasma One Rewards Addendum
Effective as of June 16, 2026
This Rewards Addendum (this “Addendum”) governs our (“Plasma,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) cashback rewards program (the “Cashback Program”) and referral program (the “Referral Program,” and together, the “Programs”) offered to holders of an eligible Plasma One card (each, a “Card”).
This Addendum is part of, and incorporated into, our Terms of Service. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in the Terms of Service. The Terms of Service, including the Arbitration Agreement and class action and jury trial waiver in Section 15 and the governing-law, venue, notice, assignment, severability, waiver, and contact provisions in Section 16, apply to this Addendum and to all disputes between you and Plasma relating to the Programs. For Program matters, this Addendum controls over any conflicting provision of the Terms of Service, except those dispute-resolution and general provisions. Your Plasma One Cardholder Agreement (the “Card Agreement”) governs your Card and your relationship with the Issuer and is not modified by this Addendum.
Help Center. Current Program parameters, including Tier pricing, trial offers, XPL lock amounts, Cashback rates, bands and caps, category-cashback programs (including AI and airline cashback) and their eligible merchants, card limits and card fees, referral and bonus amounts and qualifying thresholds, and perks, are set out in the Plasma One Help Center, available under “Get Help” in Plasma One (the “Help Center”), and are incorporated into this Addendum by reference. The Help Center states the parameters currently in effect. In the event of any inconsistency between this Addendum and the Help Center as to a rate, amount, limit, or threshold, the Help Center controls. Plasma may update Help Center parameters prospectively in accordance with Section 9.
The Programs are loyalty and payment-method programs. No participant is required to acquire, hold, or transact in any crypto-asset (including XPL) to participate. Where Cashback is denominated in XPL, XPL functions solely as the payment currency in which the Cashback consideration is delivered. The Programs are not, and are not intended to be, an offer or sale of any investment, security, or financial product.
IMPORTANT: THIS ADDENDUM IS PART OF THE TERMS OF SERVICE, WHICH CONTAIN A BINDING ARBITRATION AGREEMENT AND CLASS ACTION AND JURY TRIAL WAIVER (SECTION 15). REWARDS DELIVERED IN XPL ARE DIGITAL ASSETS, ARE NOT LEGAL TENDER, ARE NOT GOVERNMENT-BACKED, ARE NOT FDIC OR FSCS INSURED, AND MAY DECLINE IN VALUE INCLUDING TO ZERO. YOU ACCEPT ALL RISK OF LOSS WITH RESPECT TO XPL.

1. Eligibility and Card Accounts
To participate in the Programs you must (i) hold an active Card and account (“Card Account”) in good standing, (ii) be at least eighteen (18) or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, (iii) reside where the Programs are available, (iv) complete identity verification to Plasma’s satisfaction, and (v) not be subject to sanctions of the United States, United Kingdom, European Union, or other applicable authority. Each individual may maintain only one Card Account. Plasma may verify eligibility and request documentation at any time. Failure to comply may result in suspension or forfeiture of rewards (“Rewards”).
Multiple Cards. A Card Account may include multiple Cards (physical and virtual). The number of Cards available at each Tier, and any fees for additional Cards, are set out in the Help Center. All Cards under a Card Account are treated as a single Card Account for purposes of the Programs: Qualifying Transactions, Cashback bands, caps, and limits are calculated on an aggregate basis across all Cards in the Card Account.
2. Tiers
Plasma offers tiered access to the Programs and related Plasma One features (each a “Tier”): Lite, Core, and Platinum. Current Tier benefits, pricing, lock amounts, and requirements are set out in the Help Center and may change in accordance with Section 9.
- Lite. Lite is free and requires no subscription or XPL lock.
- Core. Subject to eligibility and availability, you may unlock Core by either (i) paying the annual USD subscription fee set out in the Help Center, or (ii) locking the amount of XPL set out in the Help Center in the Locked XPL Vault for twelve (12) months (Section 4). New users who make a qualifying deposit in the amount set out in the Help Center receive Core free for thirty (30) days. After the trial period, continued Core access requires payment of the subscription fee or completion of the XPL lock then in effect.
- Platinum. Platinum may be unlocked only by locking XPL. No subscription or other cash-purchase option is offered for Platinum. The Platinum lock amount in effect at Program launch is an introductory amount available for thirty (30) days following launch. After that period, the required lock amount will be the amount Plasma determines in its discretion, as set out in the Help Center.
Path equivalence. Where both a subscription path and a lock path are offered for a Tier, they are alternative ways of paying for the same Tier features. Neither receives preference, and locking confers no yield, interest, additional XPL, or economic, voting, ownership, or governance benefit beyond Tier access. Once unlocked, Tier benefits run for the applicable Tier period regardless of further activity.
No downgrades. Tier downgrades are not currently supported. You may not downgrade to a lower Tier during an active Tier period, and locked XPL remains locked for the full lock period notwithstanding any request to downgrade, cancel, or close your Card Account (Section 4).
3. Cashback
Earning. Cashback is delivered as consideration for use of your Card on eligible purchases, net of returns, refunds, chargebacks, and credit adjustments (“Qualifying Transactions”). Cashback accrues in U.S. dollars and is paid in XPL, by Plasma’s election, as the payment currency. This does not change its character as consideration for card-spend services. Cashback is paid on a tiered, laddered model: rates step down across bands of monthly qualifying spend per your then-current Tier, and certain Tiers are subject to monthly caps, in each case as set out in the Help Center. Estimated Rewards displayed at authorization are informational only. Rewards vest only on completion of the Pending Period (Section 7). Plasma determines transaction qualification in its sole discretion and may offer promotional rates subject to additional terms.
Category cashback. Certain Tiers earn enhanced cashback on specific merchant categories, currently including AI-related merchants and, for Platinum, eligible airlines. Category-cashback rates, bands, monthly limits, and eligible merchant lists are set out in the Help Center. Where a transaction qualifies for a category rate, that rate applies in place of the base Cashback rate. Once a category limit is reached, the base rate continues to apply.
Excluded transactions. The following do not earn Rewards: (i) ATM withdrawals, (ii) peer-to-peer or person-to-person transfers, (iii) currency exchange, (iv) tax payments, (v) gift card, prepaid card, money order, or cash-equivalent purchases, (vi) gambling and quasi-cash transactions, (vii) cryptocurrency purchases or sales, (viii) wire transfers, (ix) balance transfers, (x) cash advances, (xi) payments of outstanding balances, (xii) transactions with affiliated merchants, (xiii) transactions Plasma reasonably believes are structured or manufactured to maximize Rewards, and (xiv) any other transactions Plasma excludes in its sole discretion.
4. Locked XPL Program
Vault. XPL locked to unlock a Tier is deposited into an on-chain smart-contract vault administered by a Plasma-controlled timelocked multisig (the “Locked XPL Vault”), from your Plasma-supported wallet address set at deposit (the “withdrawalAddress”). The vault enforces in code (i) that locked tokens release only to your pre-set withdrawalAddress and no Plasma action can change that destination, (ii) that the emergency function is pause-only and cannot accelerate or alter lock timing, and (iii) that upgrades cannot change the release time or withdrawal address of deposited positions.
Lock period. The lock period is twelve (12) months from deposit. Locked XPL is not transferable or redeemable during the lock and is released at maturity only to your withdrawalAddress. Adding XPL to upgrade to a higher Tier re-locks the combined balance for a fresh twelve (12) months from the upgrade. You cannot close your Card Account while a lock is active. Plasma does not support early unlock, partial refund, or pro-rata return of locked XPL, including in connection with any requested downgrade or cancellation.
Lock amounts. Required lock amounts per Tier are set out in the Help Center and may change in accordance with Section 9 (including, for Platinum, after the introductory period described in Section 2). Changes apply prospectively and do not affect XPL already locked.
Risk. Locked XPL is not a deposit, is not legal tender, is not government-backed, and is not insured by the FDIC, SIPC, or any equivalent body. The Locked XPL Vault relies on smart-contract code that may contain bugs, exploits, or vulnerabilities. Do not lock XPL unless you can tolerate a total loss of the locked amount and its USD value over the lock period. Plasma makes no guarantee that locked XPL will retain any particular value.
5. Referrals
Mechanics. Participants receive a unique referral link (“Referral Link”). A qualifying referral (“Qualifying Referral”) requires the referred individual (the “Referred User”) to: (i) sign up using the Referral Link, (ii) be a new user, (iii) complete identity verification, (iv) activate a Card and (v) make a Qualifying Transaction. Plasma may reject a referral at any stage for suspected self-referral, device or IP similarity, fraud, or any other reason.
Rewards. The Referral Program offers Referral Cashback, paid in XPL on each Referred User’s Qualifying Transactions for a defined post-activation window. Current Referral Cashback rates and windows, activation bonus amounts, and qualifying-spend thresholds and periods are set out in the Help Center. Referral Cashback is distributed in accordance with Section 7 and is otherwise subject to the terms applicable to Cashback Rewards.
Privacy. Referring participants may see only Referral Link status (signup, Card activation, Qualifying Transaction) and never a Referred User’s identity, transaction details, or personal information. Personal data is processed per Plasma’s Privacy Policy at https://www.plasma.to/privacy-policy.
6. Perks and Benefits
Tiers may include additional perks and benefits, such as AI subscription credits, Visa Signature or Visa Infinite benefits, Visa Concierge services, airport lounge access, and other third-party offers, as described in the Help Center. Perks provided by third parties (including all Visa-branded benefits and concierge services) are provided by Visa or the relevant third party, not by Plasma, and are subject to the third party’s own terms, conditions, eligibility requirements, and availability. Plasma does not guarantee, and is not responsible or liable for, third-party perks, which may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time without notice. Perks have no cash value, are not transferable, and are not Rewards for purposes of the payout provisions of this Addendum.
7. Payouts and Cash Out
Payouts. Rewards accrue in USD and are converted to XPL at the XPL/USD price at payout using pricing sources selected by Plasma. Rewards may remain pending for several days from the transaction posting date (the “Pending Period”). Plasma may change the pricing methodology, Pending Period, or payout frequency at any time. Displayed Rewards are informational only and progress through pending, next-payout, and past-payout states shown in the Plasma One application.
Reversals and Suspension. If a transaction is refunded, reversed, or charged back, Plasma may debit your account, reduce future Rewards, or take corrective action. Plasma may offset Rewards against outstanding balances, chargebacks, fraud losses, fees, or compliance costs without prior notice. Plasma may suspend, withhold, or forfeit any pending, accrued, or unredeemed Rewards, without prior notice, if Plasma suspects fraudulent activity on your Card Account.
Cash Out. You may convert XPL Rewards to U.S. dollars credited to your Card Account through a non-custodial decentralized-exchange aggregator swap executed on-chain from your Plasma One wallet using 0x (operated by 0x Labs and its affiliates). Plasma does not custody, control, or guarantee the swap and is not a party to it. 0x is not registered, licensed, or supervised by any financial regulatory authority for its aggregation activities. The rate received reflects available liquidity, liquidity-provider spreads, slippage, and network gas fees, and may differ from any indicative rate displayed. Cash Out is irrevocable once confirmed on-chain. Plasma may impose processing fees, minimums, or other conditions.
No Liability. Plasma is not liable for delay, failure, or interruption of Rewards accrual, payout, or Cash Out resulting from blockchain congestion, outage, or fork, smart-contract malfunction, regulatory or sanctions action, or any event beyond Plasma’s reasonable control. During such events, Plasma may suspend payouts or modify the reward token without compensation for Rewards that would have been earned, paid, or converted.
8. Fraud, Forfeiture, and Clawback
Prohibited Activity. Plasma may, without notice, forfeit all Rewards, suspend or terminate your account, recover paid Rewards, report to law enforcement, and pursue all remedies if Plasma suspects that you have engaged in (i) fraud, (ii) manufactured spending, transaction structuring, or excessive refund patterns, (iii) collusion, (iv) providing false information, (v) circumventing program controls, (vi) using automated means, (vii) maintaining an account primarily to earn Rewards, (viii) manipulating tier eligibility, (ix) self-referral or referral of family, agents, or associates primarily for Rewards, (x) promoting Referral Links through unauthorized paid ads or spam, (xi) buying or selling Referral Links or Rewards, or (xii) any other conduct Plasma deems contrary to the spirit of the Programs (“Prohibited Activity”).
Forfeiture and clawback. Plasma may forfeit all pending, accrued, and unredeemed Rewards if you close your account, your account is terminated or not in good standing, or you violate this Addendum. Forfeited Rewards have no cash value and cannot be reinstated. If your account is suspended due to card loss or theft, accrued Rewards are preserved pending restoration, subject to fraud review. Plasma may reclaim Rewards earned through Prohibited Activity, which are calculated at the initial distribution amount, not current market value, by debiting your Card Account, offsetting future Rewards, or deducting from amounts owed to you, and may claw back Rewards on returns of purchases made primarily to meet promotional requirements or other gaming or abuse of the Programs.
9. Program Changes and Termination
Plasma may modify any aspect of the Programs, including the parameters set out in the Help Center, Reward rates, cashback bands, tier structures, pricing, lock amounts, eligibility, excluded transactions, payout schedule, perks, and Referral Cashback terms, at any time, including by updating the Help Center, subject (where applicable to you) to mandatory consumer-protection laws including, for UK residents, the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Continued use of your Card Account constitutes acceptance of any changes to the Programs. Plasma may terminate the Programs at any time for no reason. Closing your Card Account forfeits all unvested and unredeemed Rewards.
10. Liability, Taxes, and Regulatory Status
Liability. The limitation-of-liability, disclaimer, and indemnification provisions of the Terms of Service apply to the Programs. The Programs are provided “as is” and “as available” and are not securities, investment contracts, or financial products. You agree to indemnify the Plasma Parties against claims arising from your use of the Programs, breach of this Addendum, violation of law, fraud or misconduct, tax noncompliance, or disputes with Referred Users or third parties.
Taxes. You are solely responsible for all tax obligations arising from Rewards. Plasma may report to tax authorities as required by law and makes no representations regarding tax treatment.
Regulation E. The Programs are loyalty rewards only and do not constitute an “account” or “electronic fund transfer” under EFTA or Regulation E. Regulation E error-resolution procedures do not apply to Rewards.
Issuer. The Issuer (as defined in the Card Agreement) is not the provider, sponsor, administrator, or operator of the Programs, has no control over or responsibility for the Programs, Rewards, or XPL tokens, makes no representations regarding their regulatory status or classification, and has no liability with respect to them. Any such disputes, claims, or regulatory inquiries are exclusively between you and Plasma.
11. General
The severability, assignment, waiver, and entire-agreement provisions of the Terms of Service apply to this Addendum. This Addendum, the Terms of Service, and the Card Agreement together constitute the entire agreement regarding the Programs. If any forfeiture provision is unenforceable, Plasma’s rights to modify, suspend, or terminate the Programs and to offset Rewards remain enforceable. Plasma exercises its discretion under this Addendum in its commercial judgment and, for UK residents and other users protected by mandatory consumer-protection law, in a reasonable and proportionate manner consistent with that law. Nothing in this Addendum limits non-waivable rights under such laws. Sections 4 through 11 survive termination. Report Reward errors to support@plasma.org or in the Plasma One application within thirty (30) days of the date Rewards were credited or should have been credited. Failure to report within this period waives any related claim. Plasma’s determination is final and binding.
BY USING YOUR CARD, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THIS ADDENDUM AND THE TERMS OF SERVICE, INCLUDING THE ARBITRATION AGREEMENT AND CLASS ACTION AND JURY TRIAL WAIVER IN SECTION 15 OF THE TERMS OF SERVICE.
