A discussion list open to all with a professional interest in the teaching and learning of physics. The list currently has over 480 subscribers, leading to a reasonable pool of wisdom for tapping into, a sensible receptacle for your tips and tricks, a source of data collection when faced with benchmarking and a useful virtual soapbox for your opinions.

Scottish Physics Teaching News & Comment (SPUTNIK)
SPUTNIK is the recently launched forum for Scottish physics teachers. Although young, SPUTNIK has proved to be a lively, provocative and stimulating arena. It is the medium for debating the big issues facing physics teaching nationally as well as bing a contact point for exchanging ideas and solving everyday problems in the classroom.

Northern Ireland Physics Teachers Group (NIPTG)
This is a new list which will be of interest to those teaching physics in Northern Ireland.

Physics Early Professional Development (PEPD)
This is a new discussion list for all science students in Initial Teacher Training, or in the early years of their teaching career, and those who have a related professional interest. Don't hesitate to ask the most "obvious" question about physics or the teaching of physics. A few expert teachers will be around to help, but will only speak up if really necessary. Connecting Advancing Physics Teachers (CAPT)
